Last Tuesday I had the privilege of sharing experiences and I had a great time with an audience full of entrepreneurs at Start-up Grind Barcelona.
Àlex Rodríguez Barcadit, promoter of this initiative, is doing an incredible job giving voice to successful entrepreneurial stories, which can help other entrepreneurs who are starting.
At the beginning of the meeting, some entrepreneurs stepped forward for 1 minute to explain their current project and their needs. Listening to them is always like opening a window of fresh air: they are optimistic, with strength, eager to learn and to receive advice.
They were all very interesting. To give you an example, one that drew my attention was Physem from Adrià Hernández, a social and professional matching application that uses an algorithm to form teams and to match people who are alike.
I also saw that there were a lot of ideas related to altruism with the intention of improving some social aspect in the world. Andrew Funk asked for 3 minutes of time with Mark Zuckerberg during the MWC to present his project to help homeless people. Mariona Najles has developed an App to help celiac people to find places where they can eat. Some of them were foreigners, which confirms that Barcelona is, without doubt, a place that attracts entrepreneurs from all around the world.
Besides being interesting, it was funny and refreshing. I would recommend it 100%.
