According to INE, only one out of every hundred technological start-up survives after five years of its creation. A surprising fact when you have seen such a lot of entrepreneurs excited about their new projects, many of which are great ideas.
It is an achievement for your business to survive after five years. After that time, most start-ups have become more or less a consolidated company. Having reached the stage where the company seems more stable there are other callenges to overcome. Many of these challenges come from ourselves.
In the coming days, I will give you six quick tips to face these challenges. They are not magical. But if they are able to make you think, they will have achieved part of their goal.

Tip # 1. Get organized: When you can't get to everything, do the important things first, then the urgent ones.
As an entrepreneur your job is a way of life, and your journeys never end, especially during the first years. But there comes a time when, as a founder, you cannot and should not do everything, because your business will require a larger workforce structure and you will have to start delegating.
The feeling is like going from sailing a small boat, where you can control everything, to sailing a big one where you have to start coordinating other people's work. Never delegate your core business. Start with those functions that take many hours and are less decisive. There are thousands of tasks that steal a lot of hours during the day but are not vital for your business. Do the important things first, then the urgent ones.
