I have always believed that people have to be happy in their work. Besides being happier in our lives, being happy at work increases our performance and it encourages the retention of talent. For five years, in Anuntis, we used the anonymous work climate survey of Great Place to Work. This helped us improve, in a very significant way, the working environment. In the last year, we managed to be among the 50 best companies to work for in Spain. When I sold Anuntis in 2013, I set the goal to improve these results in Red Arbor. Today, I can say I feel very satisfied with the results and, of course, to be among the top six companies to work for in Spain.
These are largely discussed topic among experts, but in the end, the most important is the opinion of the people who work in the Company. In my opinion, the companies of the future will have to focus very much on these aspects, which will be vital to retain talent.
Red Arbor, sixth best place to work for in Spain
Last Thursday we attended the awards ceremony of the 2016 Best Work Places. As I said, Red Arbor turned out to be the sixth best company to work for in Spain (50 to 100 people).
I think it is important to remind everybody that this achievement has been possible thanks to a 98% participation in the survey by people working in Red Arbor. Without their contribution, involvement and opinion, it would be impossible to get good results.
At the same event, Great Place to Work gave us a special prize for an "Inspiring Leadership". We are very proud of this special mention, since this makes us the only company in Spain that has received this award. This is, without any doubt, a success for everyone working in Red Arbor. They, with their opinions and desire to improve, make it possible that Red Arbor is one of the best places to work for in Spain.
Now it is time to work and continue improving.
Thanks to all of you.
